Description
The A2 Leather Flight Jacket is a classic piece of American aviation history. This jacket was first introduced in 1931 and was quickly adopted by the US Army Air Corps as their standard issue flying jacket. The A2 was made from horsehide or goatskin and was lined with 100% wool. It featured a snap-down collar, a Talon zipper, and two hand-warmer pockets. The A2 was a popular jacket among pilots because it was warm, durable, and stylish.
